Common Mistakes and How to Avoid Them
The traps beginners often fall into.
The most common mistake is moving cards to the foundations too soon. If you move up a card the tableau build needs, the alternating-color chain breaks and you get stuck.
Filling an empty column with just any King in a hurry is also a mistake. Before you lose that flexibility, weigh which King opens a face-down card or starts a long build.
Getting into the habit of finishing your available tableau moves before cycling the stock, rather than flipping it blindly, greatly reduces mistakes.
