Send Aces and Twos Up Immediately

Level: Basic

Move the low cards that form the base of the foundations right away.

Aces and Twos are the lowest cards and can't receive any other card in the tableau. Sending them to the foundation as soon as they appear is almost always to your advantage.

Getting Aces and Twos up early means the following 3s and 4s can be cleared in a chain, lightening the tableau.

That said, from 3 upward, don't move cards up unconditionally — first check whether they're needed for your tableau builds (see the intermediate strategy "Foundation Restraint").
