FreeCell
Family: Open / Skill-based
All cards face-up. A skill game where nearly every deal is solvable.
FreeCell deals all 52 cards face-up from the start and uses four "free cells" (temporary spots) to move cards around. Planning matters more than luck.
The tableau rule is the same alternating-color descending build as Klondike, but because all information is open, almost every deal can be solved by logic (of the famous 32,000 deals, only one is said to be unsolvable).
The core of strategy is that the number of cards you can move at once is determined by how many free cells and empty columns you have.
